Why are you upgrading my account?
To improve your service and to allow us to phase out our older web servers.

When will my account be upgraded?
Your account will be upgraded between Monday, 5th April 2010 and Monday 17th May 2010. How quickly you get upgraded depends on your subscription and factors such as the amount of email you have saved in your mailbox.  The order is as follows;

1. Reseller Hosting
2. Reseller Email
3. Professional Hosting
4. Professional Email
5. Business Hosting
6. Home Hosting
7. Group Email
8. Personal Hosting
9. Personal Email

How will I know when my account is upgraded?
We’ll notify you by email and by Support Message.

Will I be able to continue using my email and website during the upgrade?
Yes.

I manage my own DNS. Do I need to update my domain?
Yes. We’ll contact you 7 days before your account is updated so you can update your domain.

Can you put me back to the old system?
No. The old servers and the old email/hosting services are now considered obsolete.

What happens to my old data?
Once all accounts are migrated from the old servers, your data will be permanently deleted.

Email FAQs

Do I have to change my email settings?
No. Your incoming mail server, username and password are the same.

What are my POP/IMAP settings?

• POP/IMAP/SMTP mail server is mail.yourdomain.com
• Username is your full email address. Example mailbox@example.com.
• POP/IMAP/SMTP Password is your private password.
• POP uses port 110, and IMAP port 143.
• Disable POP/IMAP SSL.
• Enable SMTP Authentication – applies if using Ecenica Hosting SMTP service.

Ecenica Webmail 2.0

I’ve been upgraded. Is my username and password the same?
Yes.

Can I still use the old Ecenica Webmail?
No. Email is only delivered to your new email/webmail account.

How can I make my emails sort by date?

1. Login to Ecenica Webmail 2.0.
2. Click Settings in the top right menu.
3. Click User Interface from the menu on the left of your screen.
4. Uncheck Use message index for sorting by date.
5. Click Save.
