How do I change my email password?

It’s best practice to change the password you access your email address with on a regular basis to help keep your Ecenica Hosting email account secure.

You can also change your email password if you have forgotten it, and cannot access your email address using Ecenica Webmail 2.0 or your email app.

Change your email password in cPanel

User

If you are an email user you can change your email password by logging into cPanel Email Settings with your email address and current password.

1. Open cPanel Email Settings in your web browser.
2. Enter your email address and email password.
3. Click Change Password
4. Enter your new password in the fields
5. Click Change Password to save your new password

Admin

1. Login to your Ecenica Hosting account’s cPanel control panel
   • For help accessing your cPanel see How to Login to cPanel.
2. Click Email Accounts



3. Find your email account and click Change Password
4. Enter your new password in the fields



5. Click Change Password to save your new password

Additional Steps

We recommend immediately updating your email apps, BlackBerrys, iPhones and any other devices to use your new email password. This will help prevent any errors occuring when accessing your email.
