How do I transfer my domain?

Transferring your domain from 1&1 is quick and easy. You can transfer any .co.uk fomain name from 1&1 to Ecenica Hosting for free. You only pay when your .co.uk domain is next due for renewal. So if you’ve only registered it with 1&1, you won’t have to pay anything for up to 2 years!

What do I need to do?

For .uk domains

1. Login to http://contract.1and1.co.uk.
2. Click your 1and1 contract.
3. Choose your domain and select Cancel Selected Domains.
4. Select Soon as possible from the Execute (on) drop list.
5. Select Change of Provider for the Cancellation option
6. Click Continue.
7. Carefully enter ECENICA for the IPS Tag and click continue and then Finish.
8. 1and1 will now send an email to you. Follow the instructions and confirm the transfer of your domain to Ecenica Hosting.

Please note:

• The transfer may take up to 24 hours to complete.
• If your domain has expired you will need to renew it first before transferring your domain.
• If you have any difficulties you will need to contact 1and1 for help.
